Winchester at Winklebury…again

So the day after Winchester City were handed the keys back at the Charters Community Stadium, City were on the road again for another ‘home’ game, this time against Hungerford Town in the FA Cup.
It was an opportunity to see some old friends in Nina and Danny Robinson at Hungerford, and another chance for Miss to play with her favourite burger sign at Winklebury 😂

Winklebury is now Miss’ joint-second most visited ground (along with HCC Sports Ground at Chilcomb, where she saw Winchester Castle three times previously before they folded) - second, of course, to the Charters Community Stadium.
Once again, no problems parking and knowing the ground, we knew a nappy change before entering was the way to go 👍
Miss had her favourite football with her once again and was running around practicing her skills.
She had a portion of chips with some ketchup…she ate the ketchup at least 🤷♂️🤦♂️
Miss gave out the obligatory high-fives and fist pumps to Uncle Davo, Sean, Pete, Coler and she got some sweets off Jo after she had finished treating Daddy’s ankle 🤦♂️ (warning - when trying to make a 5-a-side comeback after many years - expect injuries!)

We positioned ourselves near the benches in the first-half. Miss ran up and down and discovered she enjoyed the taste of leaves 🍁🤦♂️ Mummy has been warned as we are only just entering autumn!
In the second-half, we were behind the goal and Miss kept Clash and Hannah entertained.
As for the game, a decent clash between two evenly matched sides - Dan Jones scoring a worldie for City to take the game to a replay on Tuesday night. Miss will be asleep for that - she can expect a full report from Daddy on Wednesday however.
