It was a lovely sunny Sunday morning so I thought I’d treat Miss to a footballing double this weekend and a trip down the road to watch Ropley Vets v Row United Vets (Hartley Wintney Vets).
We stopped off at Costa Drive-Thru, I was revelling in the fact that I finally had a car with working windows again 😂
Miss had a babycino to enjoy whilst watching the game.

We arrived about 20 minutes into the first-half, in time to see a certain Uncle Davo fire an effort into the bottom corner ⚽️
Great facilities at Ropley, ample free parking, a Lottery funded modern clubhouse with public toilets and baby changing facilities.
What Miss liked most about the ground was the park immediately next to the football pitch. Best of both worlds 🤷♂️
The game itself was really entertaining, Row United Vets eventually finishing up 4-3 winners in a lively game, which, when Darryl Phillips levelled the game up at 3-3, the linesmen threatened the centre forward for a ‘post match discussion’… 🤦♂️ Another highlight was watching Uncle Davo on set-piece duty 👏
Miss had a great time playing in the park and hearing the Watercress Line in the distance.

As for the game, she was desperate to get close to the action… pitch invader!
