No parking, no problem

On Tuesday night, Miss and I ventured across Hampshire to Liss Athletic v Hook in the Hampshire Premier League (a game which Hook won 4-2).
It was first trip to Liss for both of us - on a beautiful sunny evening. The temperatures had dropped slightly from the previous two days.
It was a challenging journey - firstly I went the wrong way (headed towards Alresford instead of Petersfield by mistake 🤦♂️) but it was interesting to see how Boomtown looked now it’s finished 👀
Then we got stuck behind a Tractor where there was no dual-carriageway, 40mph speed limit outside Alresford and then when we arrived in Lisa, the small car park was full.
That aside, there was a lay by on the road next to the car park and at that time of night, it was free and no restrictions either.
We walked through the car park and found ourselves on the playing field where the game was taking place (no signs but we followed the noise of the referee whistle.)
It was a nice pitch on the corner of the Recreation Ground, with a clubhouse in the corner and a park hidden behind it.

There was also a pitch with goals next to the Match pitch and Miss used it as an opportunity to practice her dribbling. She has come on leaps and bounds and loves kicking a ball about now!

For a one-year-old - the very limited parking wasn’t ideal. That said there was a footpath up to the pitch and lots of room for Miss to roam around.
Nice club house selling refreshments but no baby changing facilities that I could see (correct me if I’m wrong please). Six goals and free entry though 🤷♂️ an entertaining fixture!
