No air, no problem 👍

Miss and I set off on our latest adventure but hit a few snags on the way.
We needed diesel, no problem there but we also need air in our rear left tyre. Shell garage Winnall, both machines in use. Off we went to Sutton Scotney, both machines in use. Then when I finally got to it - card not working, I had no cash!
On to Tot Hill - success…finally! With an ever dropping tyre pressure!
That delayed our journey but we arrived into Priory Avenue at just before 230 and made the short walk down to Bulpit Lane, home of Hungerford Town FC.

We approached the turnstile and Miss was waving frantically at the stewards - a friendly bunch that waved back to her. A conveniently placed park was also immediately outside the turnstiles, that made getting into the ground a challenge (we did visit the park later though!)
Miss was free as has been the case at EVERY ground this season to be fair, long may that continue!
There was a bar on the left and a burger bar to the right, we had a bag of snacks today, so no refreshments required but their menus looked decent and prices very respectable.
There was a busy, well sized clubhouse with a band playing and lots of toilets. Sadly I couldn’t see baby changing facilities but there was a very large disabled toilet, so plenty of space to do a bum change with the portable changing mat.
A decent ground with 7 stands remarkably! Some seated and others just terracing, but creating some decent views.
We encountered our old friends Danny Robinson (Hungerford Gaffer who coached Daddy for Winchester City Reserves) and Neens, Winchester City’s former Physio. Jordan Rose also played for Hungerford who was one of Miss’ favourites at Winchester City and former Cherries man Jordon Ibe, came off the bench for the hosts.

As for the game itself, a hard-fought encounter which Hungerford edged 1-0. Havant, well backed by 50+ away fans, struggled to make an impact, with former Hungerford man, Ryan Seager, well marshalled by Jordan Rose throughout.
As for Miss - snacks, running up and down the sides and playing on the steps were her favourite parts of the day, as well as banging on the dug out waving at Nina!

A fairly short journey for Game #91 for Miss. We’ll be back to see more friendly faces and good facilities, ample on street parking, affordable and a conveniently located park for Miss, happy days!
