Aged Three Years and 61 Days, Grace went to her 150th football match 👏
Not a classic but three vital points for Winchester City FC.
We’ve taken up vlogging now too and the link for today’s game is at the end of this piece.
However, I always vowed to keep this organic and real. So in honest fashion, Grace wasn’t really into it today!
We parked up at the Cricket Club opposite and threatened a trip to the neighbouring Garden Centre. It was a “yes” and then a “I don’t want to go to Brambridge…” scarred for life due to the singing festive moose 🫎
She watched potentially one minute of football, whilst playing with bubbles 🫧
She sat in the stand pre-match eating Quavers and said hello to Rob, Ken, Wayne and Sally (reluctantly) and was more interested in Connect Four or the IT box in the clubhouse.
But that’s just fine! She is three and will have days that she just doesn’t fancy it, and this was one.
Bashley have a great clubhouse and the only thing lacking was baby changing facilities. There may have been some but I didn’t see any, happy to be proven wrong as always!
Decent hot chocolates and love the branded sweets. Quirky branded cushions in the clubhouse too and a really nice boardroom area as well 👏
It was good to see so many friendly faces as always, special thanks to Margaret Moody for the lovely jumper ❤️
Mummy came today so I could watch some of the game but it’s fair to acknowledge when it’s not the day for it - and today was just that.
Mummy and Gracie played Connect-4 and Gracie and I watched some fellow supporters playing darts…
Big enough to own that Grace just wasn’t in a footballing mood today… we move on - a very football cliche there!
Onwards and upwards into 2026!
