Our Family Together ♥️

After a really tough week, Mummy, Gracie and I went out for the day together as a family on Sunday.
We got some vinyl’s for Grandad’s record player and some CD’s for the car park at the local ‘boot sale’ before venturing into the New Forest to Burley for an ice cream. Once we had navigated lots of horses and cows on the road we got our ice creams and had a play in the park before heading off to Ringwood Town FC.
Long Lane, home of Ringwood Town, is also the home of AFC Bournemouth Women, who were playing Ipswich Town Women in a pre-season friendly. The game was due to start at 2pm, but due to traffic, kick-off was moved back to 3.30pm.

Miss had a good roam around the stand and was playing with her football. It was a very hot day, so much of the game was spent in the shade of the stand, but Miss still thoroughly enjoyed herself eating snacks, playing with stones and covering herself in dust (much to both Mummy and my despair 🤦♂️)
The ground itself is undergoing lots of renovations. The main stand is the original and the entrance to the clubhouse remains the same, but there is new fencing surrounding the pitch and new dugouts - with a new pavilion/changing rooms being built in the corner closest to the 3G pitch.

No baby changing facilities in the older clubhouse - who knows what may materialise in the new one?
Entry was Free and there was a decent turnout with lots of Ipswich fans having made the long journey south - and they went home happy after a 4-0 victory.
