It was a second visit to Winklebury for Miss and a third for myself, as we took in Winchester City v Gosport Borough on Sunday afternoon.
Luckily this weekend, football was moved to Sunday (as we were at a wedding on Saturday - Mummy was Best Woman, great speech!)
Winklebury is only a short 30-minute drive so we had time for lunch at home before heading off up the M3. It was a nice sunny afternoon and after Miss was sun-creamed and with a hat, we entered the ground.
Winchester City games are always very sociable and Miss makes herself know to everybody - high fives for Mr Chairman, Hannah, Margaret and a packet of skittles off Sally this time. Miss bought her favourite red and black football with her and she kept herself entertained with her new found passing skills.

She also found her yellow crayon in the bottom of the pushchair - this provided an opportunity for Miss to practice her graffiti skills on the sign for the burger bar (sorry!)

Young Archie made an appearance to cheer on Macca, him and Miss made great friends and kicked a ball about together and played nicely with Archie’s toys - Archie has a great throw with Miss’ ball ending up on the pitch 😂
As for the game, it was a much-changed City side with no Griggsy, Balms, Baz, Dan Bartlett to name a few. That said Dom was excellent in midfield and it was great to see Sim come off the bench, fresh from paternity leave. A decent display but Gosport came out on top.
No baby changing facilities as discovered previously - but a good sized accessible toilet. However, Hampshire FA, take note, the lock is broken!
Good snacks at the burger bar and good access for pushchair and parking immediately outside.
A nice sunny Sunday afternoon, shame about the result.
