Back-to-back 0-0 draws 🤦‍♂️

It’s every football fans worst nightmare, twice in one weekend 🤦‍♂️

#cleansheetdirtynappies visited Hungerford Town 0-0 Poole Town and then AFC Bournemouth 0-0 Newcastle United, what were the chances of that?!?!?

Miss hadn’t seen a 0-0 draw at all this season so far, so hopefully that’s all of them out of the way in a weekend!

We have been to both of these venues before - but they are popular with us! Both less than an hours’ drive, free parking nearby…

Hungerford - on street parking one minute walk away, park outside the turnstiles, baby changing mat thanks to the club physio 🙏 familiar faces (Jo, Cairney, Jordan and Danny at Hungerford plus IK & Macca at Poole!)

It poured down with rain all game, luckily there was ample seating, just had to avoid the drips from the ageing roof.

Great set-up, lovely people at The Crusaders and we will be back later in the season, hopefully to see some goals 🤞

On Sunday, it was a seventh trip for Miss to the Vitality Stadium and a second Premier League match this season! The pre-match fire 🔥 and fireworks 🧨 are so exciting for Miss, shame the fuse was never really lit during the game, although David Brooks will feel slightly aggrieved his effort was ruled out for offside. That said, an excellent point against Eddie Howe’s side (that still feels weird saying that!). Miss saw Cherry Bear outside much to her delight!

She made everyone around us’ day - the travelling Newcastle fans were singing “EIEIEIO up the Premier League we go” and Miss heard the EIO part and proceeded to sing Old MacDonald Had a Farm 🤷‍♂️ how to make fans and get high-fives from everyone sat around you 👏

It’s making its mark on our young lady - she’s in bed right now saying “Red Army” to herself…

UP THE CHERRIES 🍒
