Colden Common 1-1 Hedge End Rangers. Miss and I ventured out for another midweek outing, making the short journey down to Oakwood Park, Otterbourne, home of Hampshire Premier League side, Colden Common.
Common re-located to Otterbourne several years ago and the host villages’ side folded. A decent crowd of around 60 watched on in the evening sunshine (after another wet summers’ day 🤦♂️) and were treated to two sides going for the three points, but that were missing that killer instinct in the final third.
Miss didn’t mind - she said a very well-equipped play park to keep her entertained! She insisted on carrying her ball around with her - and having a kick about too, she’s getting a good kick on her now.

Miss is great fun and very chatty - and if I looked away to watch the game I’d get a “Dada!”; so I look around and get a wave and a lovely smile.
But likewise, Miss would also be spotted
looking away and watching the game… like Daughter like Father 😂

The visitors look the lead after Colden Common hit the post from a penalty. Hedge End Rangers appeared to be on course for all three points only for the hosts to this time convert a spot kick. Full Time 1-1.
A nice ground. No Baby Changing Facilities and very minimal parking - luckily there was on street parking close by. But a play park, good access for a pushchair and it was Free!
A nice summer evening at Oakwood Park for game #11 and a first competitive game of the season for Miss and I.
