Whilst Miss and I have been to Dean Court (Vitality Stadium officially) on several occasions already, this one was a landmark game, Miss’ first Premier League game, AFCB v Wolves.

We managed to get tickets 24 hours prior via Bournemouth’s returns system, front row of the Family Stand, perfect.

The journey down was busy and long, we eventually got to Christchurch around 1pm, about 90 minutes after leaving Winchester and grabbed a Dixy’s Chicken (formerly KFC on Barrack Road, when did that change?!?!) before heading over to King’s Park.

A quick bum change in the car and then we walked across the park. Miss knew where we were, as soon as the ground appeared on the horizon, she pointed and said “Daddy Football” 👏

We had enough time to visit the club shop and got Miss a new notepad and pen (she was already proudly carrying her Cherry Bear teddy). Then we queued for the turnstiles, already entertaining getting Miss through! But we were in fairly smoothly, invested in a Junior Cherry Meal Deal and headed for our seats, hot dog in hand.

The pre-match entertained was far better for a Premier League game and Miss was so excited to see the fire show and then even better, fireworks! 🎆 the sprinklers were equally entertaining for Miss! The view from our seats was excellent on a glorious sunny day on the south coast!

Cherries took the lead early on and the celebrations were raucous, Miss looked around and clapped intensely too 👏

She was looking out for Cherry Bear… and when she was with her Auntie Ann at half-time, guess who made an appearance 🤔🍒🧸

As the clock wound down in the second-half, Miss was asking for fireworks, waterfalls and Cherry Bear. I couldn’t deliver any of those again, but the Cherries delivered three points ✅

A great day out, Miss is really starting to understand and enjoy the occasion now! Daddy is off to Dean Court on Tuesday night again and then Tottenham on Saturday ⚽️🍒

Let’s see how the weekend goes 👀 there is always a chance for another outing for #cleansheetdirtynappies
