Safe Hands

Tuesday 25th October 2022, our daughter was in my arms at 10:08am, after a five-day period of labour, of which Lauren was absolutely incredible.

The night before, whilst Lauren was in labour, I had the Cherries’ away game at West Ham on my phone, whilst monitoring Winchester City’s away game at Beaconsfield Town. The Gaffer even mentioned us in his post-match interview.

Sorry I digress.

All new parents will tell you this, and it is so very true. You think you have experienced love, and then you become a parent. I need to say no more other than just… wow!

Every day is a school day from then on. You learn something new about your little one every day. Their likes, dislikes, routines, eating habits, sleeping habits (we are the lucky ones by all accounts!) But it is also a journey where you as Parents can integrate your child into your life and the things that you enjoy as parents, I’m sure you can guess where this is going… the Charters Community Stadium of course!
