A trip to Gosport on a sunny Bank Holiday - and the key learning from today, it's time to get the reins for Miss!
A clear run down the M27 meant time for a cheeky KFC Drive-Thru next to Fleetlands FC. (Powder Monkey Park is on the 'to-do-list'.)
We managed to park immediately opposite Privett Park, a quick bum change on the back seat and over to the ground we went.

A crowd of over 1,000 were in attendance today to get behind play-off chasing Borough, with a fair few City fans having made the short journey as well.
We grabbed a quick bite to eat before the game at the burger bar - quick service but not one of my favourite burgers this season to be honest, a bit fatty. Miss had a small tub of Ready Salted Pringles, and ate the lot 🤦♂️
We positioned ourselves behind the goal that City were attacking in the first-half, but to be honest I saw virtually none of it. Miss is now walking, unaided, as of today anyway 😂 no more hand holding, no more push chair pushing, "let me loose Dad" - so I did! Several pints knocked into people, a couple of dogs chased and everytime Dad tried to catch Miss, out came the tears 🥹
After a half-time pep talk from Uncle Mike, Miss and I composed ourselves and went to the far end.
Talk about a game of two halves! With space to roam and grass to roll around - Miss was in her element!

Tommy Wright scored a worldie to put City ahead but two late goals from the hosts sparked jubilant celebrations on the double decker bus and behind the goal with the locals.
A second-half funny came when Miss was roaming around and in-advertently bumped into a youngster, who subsequently threw her water bottle all over her face 🤦♂️ sorry!
For Miss - high-fives with the lads as always and a cuddle with Uncle Mike to finish the game.
Plenty of space at the AEI Stadium for pushchairs, limited parking on site, but plenty of on-street parking close by.
Disabled toilets with baby changing facilities in - reasonably priced burger bar. Good atmosphere with a decent sized crowd - Gosport ticks lots of boxes. Hopefully when we come back next time, we leave with three points 🤞
